So, my googling and research isn't helping me. Like, there were clear references to things prior in the series. The Return of Fitzroy Aungrsell seems to be the direct follow up to the Emperor's Hands, but that book hinted at so much history for His Radiance that if it's been written, I'd like to read it first. The end of what I thought was the first short story, says that there's a novel coming out next, A Beginner's Guide to Derring-do or something, which if it exists, I can't seem to find it.
I stumbled across this recommendation, somehow, and reviews compared it to The Goblin Emperor which I quite enjoyed so I gave this book a shot and I loved it.Īnd then I was delighted to learn that it was part of a series of some sort, because I wanted to read more, see more of the world and I recently felt like I ran out of authors.Īnd then I was dismayed because I couldn't work out the reading order.
